About Me
I am a New York State licensed psychotherapist, and have been practicing psychotherapy and Zen meditation in the Soto tradition since 2002. I was trained in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Washington Square Institute and specialized in Relational Self-Psychology at the TRISP in New York.
In my previous life I was a journalist, traveling the globe in search of meaning that was to come from the outside world. Now I am traveling the road inwards, aiming to bring together both worlds.
Because of my European origins, I know how difficult it can be to adjust to a new culture and a whole new lifestyle in the United States. In order to help immigrants from all over the world navigate their social environment and overcome their sense of loneliness, I offer individual and group settings for expats in English and German.
