Later, Bad Dürrenberg became famous for its healing salt springs, and a spa was built literally next to her grave which was discovered only centuries later.

Today, the wisdom of these ancient "therapists" exerts enormous fascination again: too great is the emotional suffering we experience, as we face crisis after crisis, unable to heal our ills with conventional methods only. More and more scientists dedicate their time to digging up the remnants of our ancient history, analyzing DNA and connecting the dots to a time when violence and competition was absent from our lives.

The Museum of Natural History in Halle/Germany where the relics of the of shaman´s grave are on display is taking a big step in that direction.
